Autorenporträt
Kelsey Takahashi was adopted at birth and has an open adoption. She's had a relationship with her birth-mother's side since adoption, and recently met her birth-father in her early 20s. Takahashi wants to open dialogue between adopted children and their adoptive families. She hopes her book will normalize the curiosity of the adopted child and create deeper relationships. Takahashi is a teacher in California and earned her master's at the University of California, Irvine.Grace Ji is a freelance illustrator based in Canada.
