Matthew reveals to us Jesus as teacher and the content of his teaching - the medium and the message. Matthew shows us the way of humble, faithful discipleship in the midst of our bruising and confusing world. Leith Fisher guides us through Matthew's Gospel to make it instantly relevant and beautiful, offering material and suggested activities for both personal and group reading. It can be read either at a sitting or in sections over a period of a month or a year. Its forty chapters also make it ideally suited for the days of Lent.
