Jethro Pierre is a young adult, born and raised in Palm Beach, Florida and is of Haitian decent. He is the only person in his family to have survived cancer. He authored this book for those struggling with cancer who don't have the courage or drive to speak on it's life changing effects. Diagnosed at the age of 18, he shares his journey of triumph over a rare form of cancer called Non-Hodgkins Acute Lymboblastic Lymphoma. Jethro Pierre is featured on a Tonic Vice article called "TV and Movies Get Cancer All Wrong". He attends Palm Beach State College and is pursing a degree in Business Administration. He also created a studio album which accompanies this book at Afflux Studios, located in West Palm Beach. The album which goes by the same name as this book, features only cancer survivors and is available across all streaming services. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his friends, playing with his dogs Squanto and Lickie, working out, running his own Youtube Channel, and spending time at his church Jehovah Shalom. He played soccer for Wellington Waver Soccer Club, Palm Beach Central High School, Super Y League, and the Olympic Development Program. Fun fact, Aubrey Drake Graham and Donald McKinley Glover are some his biggest influences in life.
