Steve Chavez was born in Los Angeles, California sometime late in the last millennium. Not a very attractive child, he realized that his personality and imagination could earn him the attention his fairer classmates and friends naturally enjoyed. As he had not much else going for him, he pursued this option vigorously throughout childhood and his teen years. Somewhere in his early twenties, he fooled a lovely lady into believing that she wanted to marry him and together, they had a beautiful daughter. Through what can be conceived as sheer dumb luck, Steve parlayed his creative skills into becoming a published artist, musician, philosopher, and corporate entertainer. He has even been seen donning the Red Suit to perform as a real bearded Santa Claus. Now you know his fascination with Holiday books. If you look hard enough on the internet, you can find hundreds of his published inspirational and motivational reflections under the title of "A Thought for the Day" as well as a weekly Christian comic strip entitled, "Church Doodles by Steve Chavez."
