Butterflies are beautiful flying ornaments, idle herrants, the animal sisters of flowers. They carry their petal life in the wind, so ethereal that they melt in our hands. They are very special animals that feed on the nectar of the flowers as they pollinate them. They adorn our forests, fields and gardens. Their life is very complicated because it occurs in two stages: larval during which they undergo metamorphosis and adult when they leave their cocoon to fly.
