Cabeça Fundão, is a village located approximately 30 km east east of the island capital of Sao Filipe, and near Cova Figueira in the island of Fogo, Cape Verde. Cabeca Fundão is linked with the road linking with Figueira Pavão and Chã das Caldeiras as well as a poor earthened road to Estancía Roque. The area around Galinheiros contains farmlands within the village, grasslands and rocks covers the rest of the area especially the slopes. The area is near the line dividing the caldeira of Chã das Caldeiras and the rest of the island, the Chã das Caldeiras is to the north and the Pico do Fogo is to the northeast, the 1995 eruption was no threat to the village.
