Medicinal plants are used by the population of developing countries as alternative therapy.Caesalpinia bonducella have beneficial therapeutic effects in traditional Indian system of medicine. Various phytochemicals that are present in it are responsible for these therapeutic effects. The quantitative phytochemical analysis of Caesalpinia bonducella was carried out. It revealed the presence of saponins, flavonoids, phenol, carbohydrates, proteins and amino acids in hydroalcoholic extract.
