Fisher's stories are usually about small-town life and the big events that awaken sleepy towns and turn ordinary citizens into unlikely heroes. Some of his books contain a supernatural element, setting his characters on a path that they may never return. Fisher currently resides in South Carolina with his wife Michelle and their son Evan.
