Stanislaus von Moos ist Professor für Kunstgeschichte an der Universität Zürich. Er war der 'Erfinder' und der erste Redakteur der Zeitschrift archithese, der es aus dem Stand heraus gelang, eines der wichtigsten Diskussionsforen in der Architektur zu werden. Unter den Buchpublikationen von Stanislaus von Moos nehmen einen besonderen Platz die Arbeiten über Le Corbusier, Venturi and Rauch sowie über den Esprit Nouveau ein.
