Caleb's Journey is A timeless narrative of struggle, determination, and faith, Caleb's Journey by Sidney Little proves to be a learned and inspired account of life in the ancient walled city of Jerusalem. Written for Christians and lovers of history, this epic novel of historical fiction follows a simple man named Caleb. The journey follows Caleb's life which intertwines with significant history-making events including the ministry of Jesus and the siege and destruction of Jerusalem by the Roman legions in 70 A.D. This is the account of Caleb's spiritual and physical journey as he witnesses the miracle at Cana and later encounters the risen Christ on the road to Emmaus. In the many years that follow Caleb attempts to free other believers from captivity in Jerusalem during the civil war raging within the walls as four legions march to the outer ramparts of the city to recapture it in the name of Rome. Caleb is captured and due to his linguistic skills is held by a centurion as an interpreter throughout the five-month war that leads to the destruction of the city. The story is one of a journey of unrelenting faith in Jesus Christ that grows deeper with each step even as Caleb is confronted with captivity by the Romans.

Autorenporträt
Mr. Little is a graduate of the University of Ill. with a degree in Business Management. His business career was in administration and sales. He owned and ran his own printing, and computer supplies company from the early 1980's until 1994. After selling that business he flew as a contract flight instructor at Kirtland Flight Center at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque. It was during this time that he wrote Caleb's Journey, a historical novel based on both secular and biblical histories. The main character is one he would call his alter-ego, who had viewed Jesus as he lived and died in Israel. Caleb's Journey recounts the history of the destruction of Jerusalem and the beautiful temple of Herod in A.D. 70 by four legions from Rome as they sought to regain control over Jerusalem and all of Judea.
