An illustrated memoir of a sometimes all-consuming, always challenging, and ultimately freeing relationship with calligraphy over forty years. Susan's story is about more than how to hold a pen and form letters. It is about growing up and growing older, questioning and slowly finding answers-an inspiring read for artists and non-artists alike. The book itself is a work of art. Measuring 8.5 by 11 inches, it is a perfect size-large enough to highlight the illustrations but small enough hold in your hands. There are 277 images (most in color and most of Susan's work) in 154 pages.
