My name is Kenneth Dewayne George, but everyone calls me Kenny G. I was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi on April 6, 1968 to the parents of Carl, and Felicia George. They were very young when they had me. My story begins when I was eight years old, and I had two other siblings under me. My sister Angela was six years old, and my brother Mark was four years old. We grew up in a Christian home. Our father was a cab driver, and a evangelist who always provided for his family, and our Mother was a loving and devoted homemaker, and she also was our teacher. We were homeschooled because we travel a lot; our parents felt it was best for us to be homeschooled. Going to church and serving God was a way of life in the George family home. At the age of eight years old, I accepted the Lord as my personal Savior. But I wasn't sure if God was real or someone people made up. One day I began to wonder if God or Jesus was real, or were they just Fairy Tales, like the Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny, and Santa Claus. One day I started to ask myself, Is God real? How can I find out? The only answer I could come up with was to ask God himself. I figured if he was real he would tell me or show me. If he wasn't real, then he won't say a word, and I would know for myself. This was the question that was in my mind. That night before I went to bed, I got on my knees and asked God if he was real. I waited patiently expecting an answer, But there was none. After about fifteen minutes, I crawled into my bed and went to sleep. The next morning I got up, washed my face, and brushed my teeth. I remembered the question I asked the night before concerning if God or Jesus was real. That morning I came to the conclusion that he was just a character, somebody with a vivid imagination made up. So I thought when I turned eighteen, I will tell my parents, I do not believe in this God they talk about so much, because I didn't believe he was real, and that would be the end of that. But to my surprise, he did hear my prayers; not only did he hear it, but he answered me in such a way that I would have never imagined. Later on that day, one of my teeth fell out, and I got very excited. Because I heard stories from my friends that if you put your tooth under your pillow, the tooth fairy will come in the middle of the night to give you money for your tooth. As strange as this might sound, I believed in the tooth fairy. So that night, before I went to bed, I put my tooth under my pillow, and I went to sleep, with high hopes that when I wake up and look under my pillow there would be money from the tooth fairy waiting for me. Just like in the stories I heard. At about 3:00 a.m., I woke up to the sound of someone tapping on my window. When I began to open my eyes to see who was tapping, I was very surprised to see what looked like an old woman. She had a pointy face and long fingers. She wore a tall hat, and her hair was very long. So I quickly covered my face with my blanket, hoping she could not see if I was awake. She began to tap more; I started peeking out from under my covers to see what she was doing. Every time I would look at the window, she would tell me to come toward it with her long finger. So I went back under my covers. I was wondering in my mind, Is this really happening to me? Why is she trying to CALLING ON THE NAME OF JESUS 11 get me to come toward the window? Is this something she does to see if the person was awake? So I waited to see what she would do. About five minutes later, I started to peak again to see what was happening. It was at that moment when a soft voice I've never heard before began to speak in my head. The voice said, The tooth fairy is not real, that is a demon at your window. Call on the name of Jesus, you will be saved. As I was listening to the voice, I became afraid of the person in the window. She started to come inside my room, so I sat up in bed and raised my hand toward the window and said, "In the name of Jesus, go away!" The demon in t
