The differences between Calvin and Scotus outweigh the similarities and as such it is unwarranted to describe Calvin a Scotist.

Philip Tachin holds a PhD in Systematic Theology from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He taught at Theological College of Northern Nigeria in Jos and is now with the National Open University of Nigeria in Lagos. He has also been a church Pastor for some years. He is married to Nguavese and they have four children.
