Melissa Dickson Blackburn (now Melissa Dickson Jackson) is an visual artist and holds a BFA from Auburn University. She also has an MFA in Visual Art from the School of Visual Arts in New York (Studio Art). She also holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Converse College, SC. She teaches writing at the University of West Georgia.
