Come take a stroll through this "Tale of Two Kitties," and enjoy their playful, sometimes naughty but always creative antics. Through the rhyme of poetry and descriptive illustrations, you will find this pair of siblings a bundle of fun and mischief! These kittens were born on May 13, 2019, and left their Momma Kitty to "come home" two months later on July 17th. Cameo is the main subject of this tale due to his extremely independent personality and aggressive will. He has been nicknamed the "Jungle Cat," (and renamed Merlin), as he is much more at peace outdoors. However, with coyotes, bears, and raccoons roaming about it is only safe to go there when monitored on a leash, much to his chagrin. And so the story goes of how both kitties, Cameo in particular, entered the scene and re-molded both my life and the environment we three live in. Precious little beings they are to co-exist with and a total joy to love!

Autorenporträt
Carol was born in Massachusetts and showed talent in the arts from a very young age. She entered and won numerous poster contests, was runner-up in a national sewing contest, and won a cruise to Alaska after entering an art contest through a TV station in San Francisco. In 1973, She obtained a BFA degree in Visual Design from the University of Massachusetts, North Dartmouth. That summer, she traveled to California and was introduced to her new home in South Lake Tahoe where she still currently lives. Carol took a 14-year hiatus from art and became involved in the corporate world as a Leader, Account Representative, and Corporate Account Manager with Weight Watchers. Color, texture, and form have always inspired her. She began creating three-dimensional objects in grade school and progressed to mediums that include paper, fabric, and stained glass. She has made many handmade books over the years, but this is her first self-published, hardcover book. As the kitties grow, they may inspire another! Who knows?!
