It has now been almost exactly 150 years since these events unfolded, and Warren Royal, a Camilla native, has selected these vintage images from several local collections to tell the fascinating story of Camilla, its people, and its progress during those years. Royal has collected hundreds of vintage postcards and images over the years and developed a popular historical Camilla website. Diane Dixon, the coauthor and Royal's mother, is a current longtime Camilla resident.
