The effect of different doses of biostimulants on the production of dry mass and accumulation of the nutrients N, P, K, Ca and Mg in pigeonpea grown on iron ore tailings deposited in the Risoleta Neves Hydroelectric Plant in the municipality of Candongas-MG, due to the collapse of the Fundão dam, was evaluated. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse in Alegre, ES, during the period from January to July 2017. The biomass production and the accumulation of nutrients in the leaves, stem and roots of the plants were evaluated. The accumulation of nutrients was determined based on dry matter. The biostimulants responded positively to the production of biomass and the accumulation of nutrients. Greater values of biomass and nutrient accumulation were obtained in the plants that received the greatest doses of biostimulants and cultivated in the condition of greater availability of water and nutrients.
