Author Ted Atlas, a native of the Bay Area, went to his first baseball game at Candlestick Park in 1962 and has worked game-day security at 49er games since 1986. Using images from the San Francisco 49ers archives, the San Francisco History Room, and various private collections, this volume depicts Candlestick's origins and many uses throughout the decades.
