Ivana Karanovic, Ph.D. (2000) in Biology, University of Novi Sad (Serbia), is a honorary associate of the Western Australian Museum. She has published extensively on the taxonomy and phylogeny of Ostracoda, and has made major contribution towards the understanding of the underground ostracode fauna of Australia.
