This book is an outcome of research that Chapter I introduces canola and the works done in the world on application of chemical- and biofertilizers on canola. Chapter II mentions the nutrients application and how inoculation was done on the seeds (canola hybrid 401) by using Azotobacter and Azospirillum using a split-plot experimental. Chapter III biogeochemistry of N.P.K.S and Zn, their roles in canola growth, symptoms of their deficiency and toxicity is discussed. Chapter IV is devoted to the results of effect of chemical fertilizers and biofertilizers on physiological growth parameters observed during the different periods of the plant growth. Chapter V deals with the results of the plant quantitative and qualitative characters. chapter VI reviews the improvement in nutrients uptake into the seed and leaf at most effective treatments among those receiving chemical fertilizers and their corresponding treatments in which biofertilizers were used. This chapter also includes the main conclusions of the thesis and attempts to give possible recommendations to the farmers on the basis of this work regarding application of the appropriate fertilizers for obtaining the best yield.
