Caolyn is named for the goddess of wishes. She never knew her mother, who died, shortly after she was born. Karyn started writing and self-publishing around the time of her retirement in 2013. Her focus is primarily children's literature. This is Karyn's first attempt at a Celtic fantasy for young adults. Karyn lives in Massachusetts with her husband, Barry. They enjoy spending time with their family and traveling.
