Kathryn lives in the beautiful Chiltern Hills, England with her horse, dog and cat. She is a freelance medical writer, running her own successful global business, Cathean Ltd, which involves creating regulatory documents as well as patient information materials, journal articles and training materials from scientific data to support the approval of new medicines. She also hosts workshops and seminars to help new medical writers and freelancers wanting to improve their business management skills. As an equestrian journalist, Kathryn combines her love of horses and words.When she's not wordsmithing, Kathryn loves running with her dog, Mole, competing her horse in the sports of dressage and eventing, and practicing yoga and reiki.Having been widowed at 37, Kathryn has been determined to live her best life in honour of her husband, Ian, and has since realised her childhood dreams of becoming a professional writer and published author. She enjoys sharing her experiences in seminars and talks with the hope of helping others facing difficult times.
