Augustine Ugar Ogogo est professeur d'écologie de la faune sauvage et membre de la Wildlfe Society of Nigeria. Il est titulaire d'une licence en gestion des ressources forestières, d'une maîtrise et d'un doctorat en gestion de la faune sauvage, tous obtenus à l'université d'Ibadan, et d'un PGDE de l'université de Calabar. Il a écrit de nombreux ouvrages, dont "Wildlife Management in Nigeria".
