Raising my three sons in a coastal community surrounded by rich history and beautiful geography made it easy to bring my first children's book to life. I was inspired by the beach and boating adventures when my children were young and the impromptu, quiet moments of reading to them on rainy days on the porch. My first book took 10 years to become a reality. I hope to have more time to dedicate to this hobby as I approach retirement. My career as a school counselor has allowed me to spend each summer traveling and spending quality time with my family and friends while enjoying all that New England has to offer.
