Jonathan Lawes is an instructor at an aviation engineering training school, having previously worked as a race engineer. He is an avid motorsport enthusiast, and is currently developing a Ford Zetec-engined Escort Mk2 to compete in hillclimbs. He lives at Gillingham in Dorset.
