The replacement of the Native Cerrado by cultivated areas changes the quality and dynamics of soil organic matter. In this sense, the present study aimed to evaluate the changes caused by different forms of land use in the Native Cerrado on the carbon contents and stocks, as well as on its humic fractions (Humic Acid, Fulvic Acid and Humine) of a Neosol. The selected environments for the evaluations consisted of an area under native cerrado strict sensu vegetation (ACN); an area under conventional banana plantation (APB); an area with an agroforestry system with cocoa, mango and banana plantation (SAF); and an area under a 7-year-old eucalyptus plantation (EUC). The soil samples were collected in the layers 0-10, 10-20, 20-30, 30-40 cm for the determination of the contents and stocks of total organic carbon (TOC), carbon of the humic fractions, the results obtained were submitted to the variance analysis, considering an entirely casualized design, compared by means of the Tuckey test at 5% probability.
