The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that cardiometabolic diseases cause about 30% of deaths worldwide. Mexico is the second country with overweight and obesity; seven out of 10 Mexicans are overweight or obese; these factors are the main determinants for the development of diabetes mellitus, hypertension and cardiovascular diseases. The objective of this research is to know the prevalence of cardiometabolic risk factors in residents of the community of Julián Blanco Dos Caminos.
