While the career development is a life-long process, choices made during the college years are significant in setting the foundation for future professional options. Selecting a career can be a daunting task for many university students who must balance their personal interests, academic ability, courses available at the university and the Labour market needs. It is in this view that the author aimed at investigating career certainty of Kenyatta university students. There are many factors that affect University students' career decision making as well as their certainity in the choices made. These factors include their level of occupational knowledge, their decision- making ability and the level of clarity in their personal attributes and resources. The need for career counseling across all the levels of education is essential to enhance proper career decision making.
