Max Altschuler was born to build things. According to his father, one of his first words was "demolition," which they would say together after spending hours building towers of bricks and knocking them over. Raised in Syosset, Long Island, Max attended Arizona State University and graduated with a degree in interdisciplinary studies. He has since worked in tech, as an early employee at Udemy, an executive at At- torneyFee (now LegalZoom Local), and the Founder and CEO of Sales Hacker. He's also started or helped build two other multimillion-dollar companies, CMX Media and SaaStr. Max is a shareholder through investment or advisory in over 40 other startups across the healthcare, agriculture, cyber security, sales, marketing, and shipping logistics industries. He recently started a passion project called SUTRA, a superfoods-based healthy co ee alternative that's helping people like him go caffeine-free. This is Max's second book. His firrst, Hacking Sales: e Playbook for Building a High Velocity Sales Machine, was published by Wiley in 2016 and was an Amazon Bestseller. A widely recognized thought leader, he has been published by Harvard Business Review, Money, Inc., Forbes, and many other outlets. When Max isn't building companies, helping people with their careers, or writing, he spends time traveling around the world and working from different locations.
