Nascida em Bogotá, D.C., cresceu no seio de uma família de artistas que a levou a desenvolver o seu talento, a especializar-se em caricatura fisionómica e a desenvolver a sua investigação na área das artes plásticas, tem uma vasta experiência como professora em várias escolas públicas. Trabalha também na área de divulgação cultural e jornalismo.
