Carlos Hines (born September 26, 1980 in Smithfield, North Carolina) is a pitcher currently a free agent. He was taken in the 24th round of the 1999 draft by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and traded to the Giants on April 28, 2006 for relief pitcher Tyler Walker. He played for the Giants Triple A affiliate, the Fresno Grizzlies in 2007. On January 9, 2008, Hines signed a minor league contract with an invitation to Spring Training with the Houston Astros.
