Natasha Pritchett grew up in Newport News, Virginia, and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, after graduating from college. Her vast education and experience highlights specialties in subjects spanning corporate communication and marketing, educational leadership and curriculum and instruction.Natasha is an educator by profession, having taught at a number of schools in the U.S. along with a variety of countries -- spending a decade as an elementary school teacher. Pritchett has taught at an international school in Qatar, an all-girls American International school in Dubai, and an American International Baccalaureate school in China.During each of these experiences, Pritchett enjoyed the opportunity to engage with and facilitate the education of children and people from all walks of life. However, through these experiences she found that her passion lies in coaching and mentoring.Outside of her professional life, Pritchett is passionate about creativity, travel and her dog, Carmelli, who has been both an irreplaceable addition to her family and an inspiration in her writing life, apparent in her book, "Carmelli and the Big Race." She has always found solace in creative expression, such as journaling for self-care, and believes the power of storytelling and literacy are key to achieving success.Pritchett is driven by her desire to create a movement with the written word. She believes books can transport one to a different place and shift a mood from negative and nostalgic to pure joy and intrigue. She hopes that her books will impact the youth of today in a positive way and encourage feelings of empathy.These philosophies, as well as her passion for championing and celebrating people, come through in abundance in her book, Carmelli & the Big Race.
