Autorenporträt
Harriet is a native Kentuckian. She is a resident of Memphis, Tennessee for thirty-seven years. Being a pilot's wife, she has traveled extensively in the USA, Europe, the Middle East, and on occasion to South America in her fourty-two years of marriage. In 2018, she spent three weeks traveling Alaska and Canada for her forty-year wedding anniversary. She has lived and worked in England and the Middle East. Upon returning stateside in 1983, she and her husband began raising three boys. Between church commitments, Scouting, kids sports year-round, there was a lot of schedule juggling. Harriet ran a custom home-based cake business for twenty-five years. Missing out on many family events due to business commitments gave her an opportunity to truly appreciate the small things in life when they occurred around her. These small things were written down and held for a calmer time in her life. With the passing of her husband and closing of her business, Harriet has time to be creative on another level, sharing the stories which touched her heart during childrearing and daily life. She hopes you will enjoy the stories, although she admits literary license in some instances.
