I'm Terri-Anne, a happily married wife and mum of three beautiful kids, and a passionate foodie. My food philosophy is built around moderation. I don't believe we should deprive ourselves of anything, unless there are intolerances or allergies. Balance is key, and it helped to inspire the title of my new cookbook and my blog, Carrotsticks and Cravings. While my family leads a healthy lifestyle, I don't believe that we should go without birthday cake and carbs entirely. Life's way too short! Having said that, I do like to make my meals as healthy as possible without sacrificing flavour. I'm a self-taught cook, and I seek inspiration from family, friends, and my travels. I love to recreate recipes I've loved and enjoyed, and I always experiment with different flavours and textures to put my own healthy spin on my creations. I love how all around the world food brings people together. When I am not cooking, I enjoy running, catching up with my girlfriends and travelling the world with my gorgeous family.
