In addition you'll find a gallery of 11 more patterns for other golfing caricatures, such as: *Judging the Distance *Perfect Form *Concentration *No Sweat *Nearly There *Please Oh Please *Yes! *Almost *Lining It Up *No Way *On Par Author Bill Howrilla carves golfers that look as if they could walk right off their wooden bases and continue their games on the top of your desk. He has a knack for catching golfers at the height of their expressions: the thrill of sinking a difficult putt, the disbelief at missing an easy putt, the frustration of ending up in the ruff or in the sand pit. Autorenporträt
Bill is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from the North Hills area. He has been carving for almost ten years, and he has found that being a cartoonist helps a great deal to visualize the pieces he carves. His comic strip, Sergeant Stars and Stripes Forever, ran in syndication through NEA, Cleveland, Ohio, for 20 months during 1972 and 1973. It appeared in approximately 300 newspapers nationwide. His cartoons have also appeared in Leatherneck, the magazine of the Marine Corps, in the early 1990s.
