Currently, reforestation of riparian forest is a technique that favours reducing the environmental impacts resulting from anthropogenic action on the environment and promotes the sustainable development of rural property. The aim of this work was to carry out a case study of a riparian forest recovery project, which is essential for guaranteeing the quality of life of future generations, and the need to improve rural management of the white water stream on the Fazenda Santa Izabel farm located in Ouro Verde - SP. In order to carry out this study, a bibliographical survey was carried out on the recovery of riparian forest. There is also a partnership between the city council and CATI, with the owner of the farm, encouraging environmental education for the students of the municipality's schools, carrying out visits and practical lessons during the school term.
