Genuine philanthropist, Dwayne Bowen, author of The BS Behind the Biggest Oil Spill in US History, was born January 18, 1972 in a small community known as Potter's Crossing, located in Edison, New Jersey. Dwayne has many interests however his main objective is helping out the people of his community. As he altruistically focuses on mentoring adolescents and young adults, in 2002 Dwayne started a Non-Profit Organization, in his childhood community called The Life Line Mentoring Group. His ultimate goal is to purchase land in up-state New York and build live-in/campsite quarters for troubled teens. Still going strong, Life Line has become a second home for many of the kids in Edison and continues to thrive with Dwayne's tenacious attitude and persistence. Dedicated to the kids of his Non-profit Organization, Dwayne has written part one of his first children's books, Cashew the Flying Cow.
