The book found that cassava processing was done using predominantly traditional technologies but its marketing attracted high level of profit, provided income and employment for operators which helped them in accessing basic needs of life and hence became a strong enterprise for fighting poverty in Benue State, Nigeria.

Joseph Fefa was born on 18th May, 1980 at Mbakuragba-Kusuv, Buruku LGA, Benue State Nigeria. He holds a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in Economics and Political Science from College of Education, Katsina-Ala, B.Sc, M.Sc and PhD in Economics from Benue State University, Makurdi-Nigeria and lectures at the same University.
