Synthetic fungicides are extremely effective but the negative side of the use of synthetic fungicides is that they are harmful for human and animal health as well as soil. Recently natural plant products are being looked upon as the sources of new agrochemicals for the control of plant diseases. The world is gradually turning to herbal formulations which are known to be effective against a large repertoire of diseases and ailments and are eco friendly. More importantly, they are not known to cause any notable derogatory effects and are readily available at affordable prices. The authors hope that the book will be useful to students and researchers working in the field of plant sciences.
Autorenporträt
She is pursuing Ph.D in Botany from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, India. Her research work mainly deals with the development of herbal formulation from plant extracts for control of plant pathogenic fungi. She has published many research papers and book chapters (national and international) in this field.
