Freddie Jones was raised in the Ida B. Wells housing project in Chicago. He received his Bachelors Degree in Speech and Dramatic Art from Jackson State University and then on to The University of Florida for the MFA in theatre. He is currently a high school Assistant Principal in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
