Autorenporträt
As well as studying and working in the United Kingdom, the author spent the majority of his working life overseas, including years in Nigeria, Afghanistan, Oman, the UAE, Mauritius and Malaysia. This is probably where he caught the travel bug. He retired in Malaysia in 1999, and enjoys travelling with Lian, his Malaysian wife.
