Stephanie Chakiryan grew up on the North Shore of Long Island, New York, surrounded by the waters of the Long Island Sound. The water is where her journey into the world of poetry began as she found this sacred space to be calming and inspirational. When she is not writing, Stephanie enjoys playing tug of war with her Rottweiler, Axel, and spending time with her family and friends.
