Autorenporträt
Dr. Stephen M. Krason has for many years been a political science professor at Franciscan University of Steubenville. He teaches courses in such areas as American politics and government, American constitutional law, political philosophy, and American political thought. He is also co-founder and President of the Society of Catholic Social Scientists. He has authored, edited, and co-edited numerous scholarly, non-fiction books, including Abortion: Politics, Morality, and the Constitution; Liberalism, Conservatism, and Catholicism; The Transformation of the American Democratic Republic; Catholic Makers of America; The Recovery of American Education; and Child Abuse, Family Rights, and the Child Protective System, as well as scholarly and other articles that have appeared in various journals and publications. Among the topics he has written on is the nature and use of the power of the American president. He writes a monthly column, "Neither Left, nor Right, but Catholic" that appears in Crisismagazine.com and The Wanderer. He has been a visiting fellow at the Witherspoon Institute in Princeton, New Jersey.
