After completing degrees at the universities of Sydney and Oxford, Dr Catherine Gascoigne earned a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Cambridge, where she studied as both a Gates Cambridge Scholar and a W. M. Tapp Scholar. Dr Gascoigne won the Society of International Economic Law/Journal of International Economic Law/Oxford University Press Essay Prize (2018/2019)-which is awarded to an early career researcher for the best essay on any subject relating to international economic law.
