The understanding of the social dynamics in the country is very crucial for the success of any development objectives. In view of this, the findings of this research would be useful in many ways. First, it would provide baseline data about cause and consequence of illegal migration and related issues in kutaber woreda and serve as a spring board to other researchers who are interested to conduct further studies in the area. Secondly, since the study is conducted in a vulnerable woredas by taking representative samples, the result is expected to serve as a foundation for planning, policy formation, and program implementation at the regional and in country level. The responsible institutions would take it as input for curbing this illegal migration and follow the legal means of migration to foreign countries. Finally, the results of this study can also contribute in building knowledge base for people in the area of study.
