This master's thesis monitored the temperature and relative humidity of the air and atmospheric carbon dioxide in carbonate caves in the Intervales State Park, in São Paulo, Brazil. The studies in nine caves allowed us to understand the pattern of the cave microclimate, characterized by stable temperatures and high humidity. It also contributes to the analysis of atmospheric impacts caused by tourist visits to caves.
