Marcia Lantz Jordan, Christian author, pianist, composer/arranger, is a retired public school music teacher. She has been married to Roger for over 55 years, is the proud mother of four: Rev. Rick Jordan (Dr. Susan), Rev. Cindy Jordan, Mike Jordan (Kim), and Beth Puckett (Robbie); grandmother of nine, and great-grandmother of one. She has been the grateful care-giver for Roger for more than a dozen years, during which time God has richly blessed her and strengthened her to do her tasks and to complete various projects which He has inspired. More about the challenges she has faced and the miraculous gifts of God she has experienced can be found in her book, Will You Trust Me, Even If....? She has been a Bible student for six decades - even more avid in these years of care-giving. She served as Discussion Leader in BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) for sixteen years and is currently serving as pianist. In this book, Celebrating The Women In Jesus' Ancestry, Marcia shares some insights she has received from the Old Testament (Genesis), and the New Testament (Matthew, Hebrews, and Paul's epistles). "I feel a personal relationship with each of these God-chosen women. They are among my many 'girl friends' whom I love dearly and who have taught me valuable lessons in my Christian growth experiences." Marcia composed a series of children's songs with a companion book including a curriculum for teachers entitled Celebrating Good Character, and has produced more than a half-dozen CD's of her piano arrangements in which she celebrates various music genres, such as the weaving of hymns into classical piano pieces ("Tapestry"). She enjoys sharing the gifts God has given her by presenting programs combining her music and personal testimony.
