Autorenporträt
Heinz J. Vogels was born in Berlin in 1933 and ordained a priest i 1959. He obatained a doctorate in theoloy in 1975 and in 1978 published the original version of this book. In 1979 he married Renate Schwarz and was suspended from his priestly duties. Since 1986 he has been a member of the executive committee of the International Federation for Married Priests.
