Microbial cellulases find applications in various industries and forms a major group of the industrial enzymes. Mr. D. P. Maurya is currently working as a PhD scholar in the Dept. of Biotechnology, MNNIT, Allahabad, India. He obtained his M. Tech. in Biochemical Engg. from HBTI, Kanpur and joined Dept. of Biotechnology, IET Lucknow, as Lecturer in January 2008. His research interests are in the area of microbial enzymes, biofuels and fermentation technology.
