Yong Wang is currently an associate professor of mining engineering at the University of Science and Technology Beijing, member of All-China Environment Federation, youth member of the Chinese Society of Rheology, Secretary-General of ZHONGGUANCUN Green Mine Industry Alliance, Youth editorial committee member of the International Journal of Minerals, Metallurgy and Materials, youth associate editor of Mining Technology, editorial member of Gold, member of the academic committee of youth experts of the Metal Mine. Dr. Wang received his B.S., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Science and Technology Beijing. Dr. Wang was a visiting scholar at the University of Ottawa, Canada, and also has postdoctoral research experience. Dr. Wang has been engaged in the study of cemented paste backfill for metal mines. Dr. Wang has presided over 12 longitudinal projects, including the National Key R&D Program of China and The National Natural Science Foundation of China (2 projects). Dr. Wang has published 44 SCI and EI indexed papers. 41 patents were applied and 26 patents were authorized. Two national standards (all ranked second) and one group standard (ranked third) were prepared. The applicant has won 3 provincial ministerial special awards (ranked 1st in one award) and 4 provincial first prizes (ranked 2nd in both awards). The applicant is the winner of the Outstanding Youth of All-China Environment Federation (8 people nationwide), the Excellent Youth in the National Mining and Petroleum Safety Field (12 people nationwide), and the winner of the Youth Science and Technology Award for Green Mines.
